The 2011 Haut Breton Larigaudière red wine is a high quality claret. This 2011 wine is now just entering it’s seductive phase with red berry aromas, powerful yet smooth tannins, juicy fruits of the forest and spicy notes on the finish. With maturity new dimensions and complexity will come along to intrigue and please both the mind and the mouth! If you enjoy classic Claret then Margaux should always be in your cellar.
Château Haut Breton Larigaudière is a beautiful Medoc style domain, surrounded by parkland in Soussons, Margaux and was first awarded Cru Bourgeois Superière status in 1886. The 2011 Chateau Palmer red wine comes fifty years after the legendary 1961 vintage, this year’s wine stood out for its extremely low yields; the result of hail, and extreme heat in June. The concentrated result was both beautiful and unexpected, which should herald excellent ageing potential.
The opaque blue/purple-coloured 2011 Palmer reveals a stunning bouquet of licorice, truffles, camphor, spring flowers, black raspberries and black currants. One of the superstars of the vintage, this brilliant 2011 possesses superb concentration and purity, medium to full body, and remarkable length of close to a minute.

Sauternes 1er Cru Classe
The 2011 Sauternes sweet white wine combines opulence meets fresh acidity. Unctuous on the palate and heavier than its classic style with 150gm per litre of residual sugar, but the firm acidity balances the sweetness well. A powerful wine that will age for decades.

The 2011 Vintage Port Wine from Cockburn is distinctively fragrant with esteva (rockrose) on the nose, indicative of the substantial Touriga Nacional contribution to the final blend. In the mouth there is a wonderful, pure fruit quality (red cherries and strawberry) denoting the fresh acidity, which underpins the wine's structure and balance. A wine of great finesse and poise.
Cockburn's 2011 Vintage Port pairs wonderfully with chocolate desserts, such as chocolate mousse, creamy blue cheeses like Stilton or Roquefort.
"Great nose here with flowers, leaves and a wet earth character. Full body, lightly sweet with a massive finish.

Vintage Port DOUBLE MAGNUM 3.0L
This 2011 Vintage Port Wine from Croft is deep purple black in colour. The complex seductive nose has the archetypal Croft opulence but displays impressive depth, background and reserves of aroma. The wine’s velvety texture is underpinned by taut, muscular, perfectly integrated tannins, which provide stamina with an attractive firmness and vigour to the finish. More virile and structured than some recent Vintages from this classic house, the 2011 nevertheless displays all the rich ripe fruitiness and exotic scented character associated with the Croft house style.
